OOC: Info Post Time!

Anyway, my oldbies have all been sent off-island for the summer because I'm nuts, but here are my newbies! Based on both of them's box office takings, I'm guessing most of you have some familiarity with them already.
Hailing from Deadpool, somewhere in the constellation of the Marvel X-Men/owned-by-FOX movie universe, Vanessa Carlysle (lj user=stickitupmyjinx>) is a hooker/stripper/cocktail waitress who fell in love, got engaged, found out her fiance had terminal cancer of the everything, and woke up one morning to find out he had disappeared...only to be kidnapped over a year later by a total dick named Francis who wanted to lure him out of hiding, because it turned out Wade Wilson had found a way to fix his cancer, along with anything else, as long as he didn't mind looking like a deep fried testicle.
She's adjusting. At least in this version no one sewed Wade's mouth shut.
A while back, Vanessa sent her resume to Fandom High as a joke, and is as shocked as you are that someone wants her to teach teenagers.
As a quick content note, Vanessa uses humor to deal with everything, including her seriously bad childhood, and if any of those topics are coming up I'll be sure to label/warn appropriately.
Also, unlike her comics counterpart, to the best of my knowledge Vanessa is not a shapeshifter.

fn2187, still mad someone beat me to the hyphen) comes to you from several years prior to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, where he is a stormtrooper cadet who thinks he's transferring bases and is going to be rather surprised when he winds up at Fandom High. As per canon tie-in materials, FN-2187 was a model cadet with top marks in marksmanship, particularly, but he never really "fit in," as evidenced by his never having been given a nickname like most cadets. As per me, he is a total cinnamon roll who is going to be rather nervous at first about this whole situation, but not looking into getting back to where he's supposed to be too hard. He doesn't remember his family or his homeworld or anything besides being trained to be a stormtrooper, so it'll be a big adjustment for him!
So, his name. FN-2187 doesn't have a nickname yet, and I kind of don't want anyone to start calling him 'Finn' because that's for Poe OMG. However, FN-2187 is kind of a mouthful, and most people don't like calling someone by a number instead of a name, so I'm fine with people giving him nicknames. Also, 'Finn' is easier to type so if that gets used I understand. I'm trying to train myself out of using it in narrative but I haven't quite succeeded, myself, yet.
